Nice views of the estuary, stones can be a bit slippery but they are compacted and easy to walk on. The camber of the walk can get a bit annoying but it is worth it.

Thorney Bay Beach is a very well maintained beach on Canvey Island. It is a sandy beach and has facilities close by. The Bay Cafe serves hot and cold food, drinks and ice creams. Ideal for refreshments during a nice run along the sea wall.
