„Dat lange Hus“ (The long house) was built around 1855 by the lord of the manor (presumably from the circle of the von Maltzahn/Maltzan family, who owned property in the region) as a residential building for farm laborers of the former Hallalit estate. At that time, it offered accommodation for 16 families and reflects the rural living and working conditions on a Mecklenburg estate.

In Mecklenburg estates, the inspector's house was typically the residence of the estate's inspector or administrator. This person took over the practical management and supervision of the agricultural operation, the workers, and the farm buildings, while the estate owner often resided representatively in the manor house.

Remains of the stable and granite buildings are also preserved from the outbuildings. A neo-baroque wrought-iron park gate (special prize at the 1893 World's Fair) is now located in Alt Schwerin.

The manor house belongs to an individual who unfortunately has not been able to take care of its maintenance for years. The Geo- and Culture Association Steinreich e.V. has renovated the chapel on a voluntary basis and regularly organizes small events, such as a wine tasting at dusk on September 21, 2024 or exhibitions. In addition, the manor house was not the youth work camp but the old school further down in the village. The manor house was used as a home for several families in the GDR. There was also a hairdresser and a kindergarten there. Despite its poor condition, it is very impressive and worth seeing.

Here you are standing on the Vollrathsruhe estate with its two-storey, 13-axle manor house, the estate's own park and an octagonal castle chapel. The neo-baroque manor house was destroyed in a fire in 1917, but was then rebuilt. During the GDR era, it served as a youth depot for children who were difficult to train. After reunification in 2005, the association "Geo- und Kulturverein Steinreich e. V.” founded in Vollrathsruhe, which has since expanded i.a. takes care of the preservation of the Gutschloss.
