Hallwyl Castle is located in Seengen, north of Lake Hallwil. It has many parking spaces (parkingpay), which are very busy on weekends. Originally, the castle was a residential tower (12th century) and has been rebuilt and expanded ever since. Since 1994, it has belonged to the canton of Aargau. Among other things, the castle also offers many open-air events in the summer (e.g. theater or music evenings). The castle is also a good starting point for a hike around Lake Hallwil (approx. 22 km) or for planning any bike tours from there.

This is not just any work of art, but rather the former bell tower of the Lenzburg town church, which housed the church's four-part peal from 1635 to 1935. It is made of solid oak.

The Fünfweiher is popularly known as Feufweier. It was created in the 16th century for fish farming and irrigating the lower meadows. Later, it served as a fire water reservoir for the city of Lenzburg. In May, entire clusters of tadpoles frolic beneath its water surface. We have never seen such a high population of tadpoles in our lives. The pond offers the opportunity for barbecues and picnics.

The Aabach is a small gem where you can gladly cool your feet on hot days. Flat and shallow, it gurgles through its streambed. It originates from Lake Hallwil and flows into the Aare near Wildegg. In many places, parents can let their kids splash around without worry.
