If one were allowed to get there at least by 'pushing' during the summer season, the dike would be a real cycling highlight… 🙄 The ban was surely caused by bikers in the past who, despite being asked to push, remained seated on their saddles. I was granted an exception with the folded Brompton after arguing that this bike, when folded, is even classified as hand luggage on the DB after intervention by the ADFC.... 😁

If one were allowed to come here at least by 'pushing' even in the summer season, the dike would be a real cycling highlight… 🙄 Cycling (and also pushing) is only allowed a few hundred meters further behind the Zein. The ban was surely caused by bikers in the past who remained seated on their saddles despite being asked to push. As an exception, I was allowed through with my folded Brompton after I argued that this bike, when folded, is even classified as hand luggage on the DB after intervention by the ADFC.... 😁

If one were also allowed to cycle or at least 'walk the bike' along the beach promenade during the summer season, the dike would be a real cycling highlight… 😉 The ban was surely caused by cyclists in the past who, despite being asked to walk, remained seated on the saddle. As an exception, I was allowed with the folded Brompton after arguing that this bike, when folded, is even classified as hand luggage on the DB after intervention by the ADFC.... 😁

It's not that small, the harbor, as the title of the highlight might suggest...

The large letters in a trendy rust look (Corten steel) are an extremely popular photo motif for holidaymakers, especially at sunset. It stands at the transition of the lagoon island.
