Hueth Castle - a bit remote, but maybe that's why it's worth seeing.

North of Rees, the oldest town on the Lower Rhine, lies Hueth Castle, built in the 14th century, between the Rhine, Old Rhine, Millinger Meer and the Hetter nature reserve. The moat, the old stock of trees and the meadow orchards ensure a unique idyll. Today the castle houses three holiday homes. See also: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schloss_Hueth

Since July 2010 the district of Empel has its own sculpture. Mayor Christoph Gerwers came to the ceremonial unveiling quite appropriately by bike. The mischievous joy on his face was hard to miss when he saw the astonished audience. "If I am going to reveal such a sculpture, I won't be coming by car," Gerwer's comment on his mobile pedestal. The Mayor of Rees has hit the mark, because from now on there is a racing cyclist made of robinia wood on the station forecourt. The sculptor Peter Nettesheim, who was also present at the unveiling of his work, revealed to the audience that this sculpture is something special. In contrast to his other works, it is not made entirely of wood. Nettesheim bought the racing bike on which the rider sits especially for his sculpture in Rees.
