A lovely little lake (Llyn) in the shadow of Arenig Fawr, a great place for reflections when the weather is bright and calm.

Artificially enlarged, this beautiful lake provides perfect reflections of the mountain above. Wonderfully peaceful place you will often have entirely to yourself.

The outflow from Llyn Arenig down to Llyn Celyn, this shows where it flows through the dam.

Bothy with space for 2 people. With a fire. Very cosy, very well accessible.

This is a beautiful location. The lake is nestled in a rocky amphitheatre and just below the lip of the lake is a small bothy.

This is one of the few bothies in Wales. Very small but reasonably near the road. It is not well kept in any way but a useful place for shelter in an emergency/inclement weather. Great location.

Tricky to find. Nice walk, some hilly bits.
