Not only the landscape, but also the path itself is a sight to behold – with bridges and boardwalks.

The café in the historic Købmandsgård is always worth a visit. It is located right on Billeballestien. The interior is absolutely worth seeing: a mixture of museum and flea market. The selection of cakes is huge and they taste very good.

Nice spot, but in wet weather make sure you take rubber boots or something similar!

1. Café, General Store, and Campsite The Bindeballe Købmandsgård (Binding Balle General Store) and Bindeballe Station are just 800 meters from your current location. The museum offers an authentic experience with a historic general store selling both household goods and everyday items. There's also a cozy café and a campsite with shelter cabins and tent pitches. 2. The Old Vandel Railway Line The old Vandel Railway between Vejle and Vandel was built in 1897, the same year the station and Bindeballe Købmandsgård were constructed. The railway line was closed in 1957, and today the Bindeballe Trail follows the old railway line, much to the delight of hikers and cyclists. ...`` ``` `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````] ````] ```] 3. Bindeballe Købmandsgård was founded in 1897, at the same time as the Vejle-Vandel Railway was opened. Købmandsgården is in full operation in the original buildings as an old-fashioned mixed country store with personal service. There is the opportunity to enjoy food and drink in the cozy backyard. Bicycle service can be found at Bindeballe Station

Bindeballe Station was a stop on Vejle-Vandel-Grindsted Railway, which was opened to Vandel in 1897, extended to Grindsted in 1914 and closed in 1957. It is located in Randbøl Parish 2 km south of the village of Bindeballe and 4 km south of Randbøldal. The address is Bindeballevej 101, 7183 Randbøl.

A quaint shop with lots of historical things to discover. A part is only to be admired, a part can also be purchased, as in earlier times. There is a café in the courtyard with a huge selection of cakes. History: The shop was opened by Jeppe Kristensen in 1897 right next to the new train station. He was convinced that where a train stops, a community will be created. In 1957 the train line was shut down, but the grocery store still existed. When Maja and Reinholdt Jensen took over Købmandsgården in 1973, they began renovating the property. At the same time, they were also looking for old shop fittings so that the shop looks like it did when it opened. Today the "independent institution Bindeballe Købmandsgård" runs the shop. Their statutes ensure that the collection is preserved for posterity.
