A beautiful stretch through open heathland with gently rolling terrain.

A beautiful stretch with open, rolling countryside and wide views over the surrounding meadows. In some places you might even come across grazing goats along the way. It’s a peaceful, open landscape that really lets you enjoy the space and simplicity of the area.

Sandsjö is one of the larger lakes in the nature reserve. It's a habitat for a number of bird species including the Great Crested Grebe. As you circle the lake, you will experience the full range of terrain; forest paths rocky sections, gravel, moorland and boardwalks over the boggy bits.

Small lake partly surrounded by rocks. The lake is 1.6 metres deep at its deepest point, has a surface area of 0.03 km² and is 40 metres above sea level. Although it is small and shallow, it is very beautiful to look at from the rocks. It is worth having a picnic on the rocky plateau overlooking the lake.

How 😎, directly from the parking lot on the motorway, a 4 km long circular route leads through beautiful nature. You can find narrow paths, a lake and rocks here. A great respite from a long journey.
