February 13, 2024, Old Mac Trailhead

There is plenty of parking at the trailhead, a gazebo with picnic tables, restrooms, and a trail map. From here you have great access to three different trails up Old Mac.

February 13, 2024, South Old Mac Trail

This trail is much steeper than the North Old Mac Trail and climbs up the Judge Branch valley to the top of Old Mac. Much of the trail is beautiful, rugged, rocky singletrack.

The trail is well marked and well maintained. The seasonal waterfall is tall and rests in a crescent rocky overhang.
