Camel’s Den Cave is a small, shallow shelter cave nestled in the Daniels Area of Patapsco Valley State Park. It's a slight detour off Daniels Singletrack and you will need to carry your bike down a couple of steps.

Daniels Dam is a nice small dam along the Patapsco River. You get a good view from the parking lot, so it is worth pulling in for a short break.

There is a significant stretch of road with a wide shoulder to allow parking for the trailhead. From here the Glen Ellen Trail runs all the way to the peninsula by Loch Raven dam.

The Oregon Ridge Viewpoint is a great place to stop and take some time to spot and observe the variety of species of plants, insects and animals that live in the Oregon Ridge Nature Center. The arrival to the ridge is up a modest incline so it gives a view from higher up, with sweeping views of Oregon Ridge. It is one of the many places that are part of the education programs of the Nature Center.

Oregon Furnace Orebank is the name given to the small reservoir at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center. There is a short hiking trail that circles around the waters and a large pavilion overlooking the pond.
