The Wisłok Promenade in Rzeszów is a pleasant section on the Green Velo bike route. Although we are in the city, we are surrounded by greenery, but on the other side we can also admire Rzeszów's office buildings.

The bridge over the Wisłok River in Rzeszów, connecting Naruszewicza Street and Wierzbowa Street. It was built on the site of a former ferry crossing, originally it was a footbridge for pedestrians, but after minor modifications in the 1990s, it became a one-way traffic bridge. In the new century, traffic lights were installed on the bridge, allowing alternating traffic in both directions. In 2013–2014, the bridge underwent a general renovation, as a result of which the traffic lights were removed, because currently there are two lanes and two sidewalks on the bridge (on both sides of the roadway).

Very nice place. There are many restaurants and bars. It lacks a bit of greenery, but the buildings are architecturally interesting.

I lived 15 km, for over half a century, from this footbridge and I have never been on it :-) I recommend going through it at least once and it's a lot of fun...
