I hadn't been here in maybe 40 years since I was in 6th grade. There is quite a bit to see here in this rebuilt fort. Neat to see how many different trades people they had at the fort and what life would have been like on the frontier.

There is a wooden dock that goes out to a small platform with a bench that you can relax and watch the birds on.

I'm not sure if this building is meant as a shelter or what it has functioned as over the years, but you could take shelter here if needed.

HUGE parking lot and a great place to start exploring the natural surface trails. Also the paved trails leave from this lot too. It's where I have parked for biking and paddling, across the street is the parking for skiing.

Kayak/Canoe/Paddleboard launch on Eagle Point Lake. This lake gets pretty full of milfoil making paddling kind of difficult. And the neighboring businesses have leached forever chemicals into the soil making the fish not safe to eat, but if you catch the right day the paddling is nice.

I have paddleboarded on this lake in the past, it's quite full of milfoil and so can be kind of a challenge to paddle. Plus the fishing restrictions because of the forever chemicals that have leached in from nearby businesses is sad. But it is nice to look out on while pedaling around it!
