The elegant, slightly curved steel structure was designed by the renowned Walloon engineering firm Greisch and built between 2003 and 2004. It has a total length of 80 meters and weighs around 67 tons. The bridge has an important tourist and practical function: it directly connects the historic, medieval town center of Durbuy with the green riverbank on the opposite side, where, among other things, the famous Le Parc des Topiaires (topiary park) is located. From the bridge, you also have a wonderful view of the wooded hills of the Ardennes and the historic backdrop of the town.

The historical highlights of Ny • The monumental castle courtyard (Château-ferme de Ny): The absolute landmark of the village is this huge, square 17th-century castle complex. It was built entirely of grey limestone and features a striking, massive gate tower with a baroque onion dome. The complex formerly served to protect the region; today it is privately owned. • The historic water mill: Very close to the castle courtyard is the old village water mill. The historic water wheel is powered by the Mela and Fond des Naas streams, which flow through the entire village and create an idyllic atmosphere. • The Notre-Dame Church: The parish church in the heart of the village was also built from local rubble stone. Its directly adjacent cemetery houses centuries-old gravestones and ornate cast-iron crosses.

• The Megalithic Trail: A marked circular route connects the Megalithic Museum in the center of Wéris with the dolmens and menhirs in Morville. • Geology: The site is located at the transition between two geological zones – the Calestienne (a limestone strip with caves) and the Ardenne massif.

The Col du Rideux: a gem in Luxembourg's Aisne Valley and a favorite among climbing enthusiasts. The 2.6 km climb (avg. 6.2%, 160m elevation gain) winds through a dense forest and is actually divided into two sections. After the hairpin bend, it seems to be over, but then comes a challenging final half kilometer at 8%. The road surface isn't in the best condition, but the climb has charm. Fun fact: rumor has it that this was the first climb in Belgium to be designated a "Col"!
