Definitely make a visit to the Hubertus Chapel on the way up at Halbammer. Path, on the way to the Madersteig Hut at the turn-off to the right, here straight ahead 500 m, here is the Hubertus Chapel. Then back again!

An impressive viewpoint! Really beautiful. And when you read that the Lech is only allowed to be a wild river in two places for a few kilometers 😭. But I understand that they wanted and want to use the energy. I can also recommend the Austrian Lechtal, where the young Lech is still a bit wilder in many places.

A shame the railway was abandoned. A suburban train (S-Bahn) would be very useful nowadays. But it's great that the track can be used as a cycle path!
