In Kellenhusen, you will mostly find a fine-sandy main beach, but the water is often pebbly. For a real, natural stone beach, it is best to hike north towards Klostersee (Kellenhusener Forst). There you will find plenty of stones, flints, and fossils.

A play of colors in the darkness The 305-meter-long bridge shines in changing colors in the evening while the dark Baltic Sea gurgles beneath you. 712 m of light strips and a total of 31,000 LEDs ensure the spectacular appearance of the pier with great photo opportunities.

When it comes to offering our guests something special, we don't skimp. This is very evident in the Kellenhusen pier: it's a proud 305 meters long, an imposing eye-catcher made of steel, concrete, and wood, and a popular meeting place for a chat besides.

The cycle path is simply fantastic. Here you cycle between Grömitz and Kellenhusen close to the Baltic Sea and always have wide views of the water.

The Dahmeshöved lighthouse has once again been the destination of our little hike. Those who wish can get married here or take a tour during opening hours. The lighthouse has been working "fully automatically" since 1978, and unfortunately, the dream job of lighthouse keeper is now a thing of the past. There is a lot of reed on this side of the shore... if it is not too high, you have a beautiful view over the entire length of Lake Eutin.

Magnificent views along the shore of the Great Eutin Lake... the lake is often surrounded by reeds.
