This short path is a wide singletrack made from packed dirt. It keeps you off the highway and makes it possible to ride from east to central/west Los Altos Hills.

Enid Pearson-Arastradero Preserve offers rolling grasslands mixed with oak and evergreen trees. The trail system starts on pavement and transitions to packed dirt and gravelβ€”great for bikes with wider tires or a solid gravel setup. Keep an eye out for deer, coyotes, and even bobcats, and take a moment to pause at one of the benches or by Arastradero Lake to enjoy the open views.

This lake is about a half mile around with a nice island in the middle and trails that encircle it. This is a very popular birding area, especially in the winter, when the ducks are in their migration process.
