The westernmost section of the trails along the edge of the bluffs overlooking the jagged coast is seeing fewer visitors and is getting more narrow and can have rough or overgrown places particularly in spring. At the parks western end it is possible to follow the less maintained trail past Scaroni Road, but after another mile the trail peters out and has a last exit to the old coast road and to Hwy 1 at the tiny hamlet of Majors.
