A detour that is definitely worth it. No one should miss the view into the gorge. If you are on thin tires, you should walk the few meters.

The port of Agios Nikolaos is always worth a stop. There are ice cream parlors and a number of very nice restaurants. The coastal cycle path to Stoupa also starts here. So it is also easy to get to from there.

Hidden away in the square in the old town center is a nice, simple tavern with a few chairs outside. They serve all kinds of drinks and simple dishes. Also very popular with hikers.

Nice tavern in a secluded mountain village. Be sure to take a look inside. The old olive mill is still there, like in a museum. The drinking water from the village fountain is also great.

6.2 km track with an elevation of 700 m. It leaves between the village of Kato Chora and the village of Millia. Recently reopened after improvement works over 2 km (January 2024), it is intended to be asphalted to open access to the monastery of Panaghia Yatrissa (Our Lady the Healer). In one place there is a short section at 26.2% and the slopes of 13% or 14% make this track demanding. Good climbing technique is necessary. In summer, it remains in the shade until 9 a.m., which makes it passable even in August.

The Byzantine chapel is magnificently restored but the monastery and the surrounding area are abandoned. A very beautiful atmosphere emanates from the whole.
