The Holy Cross branch church in Hildebrandshausen belongs to the parish of St. Anna Lengenfeld unterm Stein and is the village's Catholic parish church. Hildebrandshausen is part of the small part of the Eichsfeld region located in the Unstrut-Hainich district. The first Holy Cross Church was built here in 1713 and replaced by the present church between 1866 and 1868. From 1866 onwards, Hildebrandshausen was also a parish, and thus this church was its parish church. Since 2005, Hildebrandshausen has belonged to the parish of Lengenfeld unterm Stein. The church is built of rubble stone and clad in ashlar. The Mary altar from 1930 is particularly beautiful in this neo-Romanesque church. We found the church open.
