The Hungarian Parliament Building (Országház) in Budapest is not only the seat of the National Assembly but also probably the country's most famous landmark. It is considered one of the most magnificent government buildings in the world. The building was erected in the Neo-Gothic style, inspired by the Palace of Westminster in London. It was a monumental project for Hungary's 1000th anniversary (1896).

The Hotel Budapest, popularly and affectionately known as Körszálló (Round Hotel), is one of the most distinctive landmarks of Budapest's postmodern architecture. When driving through the II district, this cylindrical tower at the foot of the Buda Hills is hard to miss.

It also operates as a key house, and is relatively easy to access from the gravel Telki Road. If you just want to stop for a short rest, you can do so on the small benches in front of the house.

The lookout tower is permanently closed for an indefinite period. It is unsafe due to its dilapidated condition.

Essentially, next to the forest road connecting Telki-Nagykovácsi - or we can also call it "Telki road" - we can find the Anna hunting lodge, which functions as a key lodge. We can find it at a forest crossroads, which is located a few km from the main road connecting Telki - Budakeszi. There are resting benches in front of the Key Lodge. Nearby we can also find the Csergezán Pál Lookout, but if we want to go to Nagykovácsi, it is only about 6-8 km, on a good quality gravel road.

The Iconic Circular Tower of Buda Hotel Budapest, often affectionately called the “Round Hotel” (Körszálló in Hungarian), is one of Budapest’s most distinctive architectural landmarks. Located on the Buda side at the foot of the Buda Hills, this cylindrical high-rise was opened in 1967 during the socialist era and quickly became a symbol of modernity and progress. The hotel stands 64 meters tall with 15 floors, offering panoramic views of the city, including the Danube and the Castle District. Though it has changed ownership and names over the years, the Körszálló remains a nostalgic and iconic piece of Budapest’s skyline, blending retro charm with a strategic location near parks, hiking trails, and public transport. The hotel has been permanently closed since January 16, 2025.

In good condition, from the lookout tower on the top of Nagykopasz Mountain (559m) we can enjoy a complete panoramic view: towards the Buda Mountains, Nagykovácsi and Nagy-szénás, Hármashatár Hill, Jánoshegy, Budaörsi Kopárok, but also towards Pilis and Gerecse. In clear weather, the Börzsöny-Mátra-Bükk can also be clearly seen. It can be approached from several directions, but you have to climb a hard path from the North side - I do not recommend this. There are wooden tables and benches in the foreground of the lookout tower.
