The Pálfiov mansion in Malacky (older spelling Pálffyovský ...) is a cultural and historical monument and has a rich history. It was home to a local family, a Franciscan boarding school, a military camp, and a hospital. The mansion has been part of the city of Malacky since 2007. It was originally a representative aristocratic baroque residence. The original owners were the Pálfi family. The building was rebuilt several times. At the beginning of the 19th century a radical reconstruction of the manor house took place, in which the original appearance of the facades and the interior was converted into the classicist style. The baroque garden was replaced by an English park.
