The hike described here was undertaken as part of an AIDA journey. From Hellesylt it was about 20 minutes by bus to the starting point. The hike is about 10 km long and there are about 180 vertical meters to overcome. The path is very wide at first, but later becomes narrower and narrower. Scenic, this hike is a dream. It leads past lakes, waterfalls and snow-capped mountain peaks. Along the hike there are enough benches for a rest. At the end of the hike was a descent of about 280 meters. This descent was on unpaved roads and was relatively steep. The use of walking sticks is advisable for this section. Overall, it was a beautiful hike with great photo opportunities.

Park the car in Flo (Bauernwiese 30 NOK unlimited). In the mountains you can camp or hike for about 3 hours to the village Vollset and then go back the same way. There is no boredom, because both the way and the landscape are terrific. A "must" if you are in this corner of Norway!
