⛵✨ Around the Zwischenahner Meer, there are numerous places where you can sit on a bench and enjoy the wide view over the water. Many of the benches in the Kurpark area are accessible. As the circular path around the lake (approx. 12 km) runs almost everywhere directly along the shore, you'll find a place to sit every few hundred meters.

These lakes are characterized by a great depth in relation to their diameter. However, the Zwischenahner Meer is quite shallow and appears rather atypical. However, steeper edges can be found on the Zwischenahner and Rostrup banks. However, they are heavily blurred by the thick layer of sludge. In 1949, drilling was carried out to detect a salt dome, the result of which was a map with the location of the salt dome located under the lake.

The Z Zwischenahner Meer is a lake in the municipality of Bad Zwischenahn in the Ammerland district in Lower Saxony.
