The overall layout today presents itself as a rectangular garden, divided into six rectangles separated by paths. The castle is centrally located, the paths are designed as avenues. The original garden design is no longer recognizable, most areas are covered with lawn, the middle rectangles have sparse tree stands, and another area has a bosquet.

From this vantage point, one of the most beautiful views upstream of the former fishing village unfolds, with its medieval half-timbered houses and boat moorings situated directly on the water. In the distance, the striking Old Town Hall, built in the middle of the river, can be seen.
