A beautiful tribute to Jorge Amado and Zélia Gattai. Place with good bars to drink delicious beer at night. Good live music.

This is that charming little beach where only the locals go. The water quality is relative compared to other beaches in the region. It's close to everything around and has some really cool rock formations to the right. Nice street art works too.

The statue of Jorge Amado and Zelia Gattai shows Salvador's most distinguished citizen. The writer and his wife are immortalized in a bronze sculpture with their pet dog, right in front of the Church of Santana in the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, where the couple lived most of their lives. A tribute offered to the city by the residents of the neighborhood.
