It was a feat of strength, but after a good hour it was done: Around 15 activists from the Mir Trewwerer brought the Balser back to its traditional place on the Schwarzbach yesterday and placed it above the water, where it is now an indispensable part of the city. As a reminder: The wooden silhouette-like work of art created in 2015 had to be repaired because it was exposed to the elements for years and was in urgent need of a makeover.
