The visitor centre and cafe at Whitelee are a super good visit location for you and the family. It is educational, interesting, and it has a great cafe. In fact, it is fascinating to hear about the UKโs largest onshore wind farm. You can also hire bicycles here if you want to ride around the rather large wind farm complex.

A beautiful Scottish Castle tucked within a golf field. To see this, you will need to ride through the entrance which was free and permitted.

Loudoun Hill has a rich history regarding a famous battle carried out in 1307. It's also a volcanic plug and generally lovely to look at! For the adventurous hiker, there is an option to climb to the 316m summit, however this is steep and rocky so exercise with caution.

Excellent road sections round here. Some cars can bypass at quite some speed by they tend to give you room. Can be windy but a satisfying climb for sure, worth the effort

On dry days you will be fine with 28-30mm slicks however on wet days you need grippier tyres.
