Labyrinth of Rocks of the Cévennes

Highlight • Natural Monument

Very nice, something special. The tour is not too long and also determines something exciting for smaller children. It is very rocky, partly alpine. The tour can also be done in slippers, but I felt much safer in my trekking shoes. We went the other way around and I think that's the better direction. Most of the tour is shady, only the spots along the road are very sunny. Bathing only possible in certain places. A paradise for climbers and boulderers. Here you come across a lot of routes and blocks. Here it is almost like Fontain Bleau. Only here there is water in addition to the white sand. In summary: highly recommended.

The Chassezac gorges offer magnificent panoramas when you travel through their heights. The proof is this viewpoint located at the level of the Gleysasse cave.

A beautiful swimming spot where you can go by paddle boat. Afterwards you can take a break on the rocks and even jump in.

In the past one would have said: "I shot a whole film". Although the Chassezac is smaller than the Ardeche Canyon or the Verdon Canyon, it is no less beautiful.
