A real highlight here between Neustift and Ebersdorf. A lot of heart and soul has gone into it. Definitely visit. Rest stops are also available.

A tranquil spot in the already tranquil Bad Waltersdorf.

Today we had the rare luck to meet Josef in person. He was busy watering the splendor of the flowers around his artwork. This requires about 400 liters of water per day in summer. He also had a brief introduction ready about the origin of this art project: When the bridge directly in front had to be rebuilt after a flood, a larger pile of earth remained on the adjacent slope. There he lovingly placed a small house for resting; as a nativity scene builder, it was only natural that he soon brought a few small churches, houses, and other handmade art objects there, to delight passers-by, but above all himself. All the lovingly designed buildings and sculptures come from his hand. The beautiful floral display, which adorns the entire area in summer, comes from the municipality, but is cared for daily by Josef himself. His whole heart is in this project, and it shows!

In the middle of the covered wooden bridge there is a viewing platform from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river. The bridge itself is also absolutely worth seeing.

There are many things that are worthwhile. If you like action - the H2O. For those who like it stylish - the Heiltherme. If you like it sporty - the many hiking and biking trails around the place. For those who like it cozy - the Kurpark. And for pastry tigers - the pastry shop. Something for everyone :)

The Marian column built in 1895 with the frog fountain built by the artist Rudi Pichler. You can also find a few bankers here to rest.

A wonderful place to recharge your batteries: Kulturhaus-Cafe and in front of it the spa park with a water lily pond!
