There are occasional events to liven up the park. The café has very good cake and also pie. The owner is very friendly. More information can be found on the Naturerlebnispark website.

Beautiful and meter-long stone wall. Reminded me of Ireland, because you often see such walls there. 😉

A large violent conflict took place right on the Tollense near Weltzin around 3,300 years ago. Archaeologists were able to find the remains of countless skeletons in the damp ground, which have been excellently preserved. The reconstructed battlefield stretches for about 1.5 kilometers along the west bank of the river.

Very, very nice cafe at the entrance to the Mühlenhagen nature adventure park. The cake is extremely delicious (my favorite is the woodruff cake - a poem, baked by the owner herself). You sit very nicely in the middle of great nature and are welcomed in a very friendly manner. There is also a great natural playground. Opening times in the season from 1.4. until 31.10. Friday to Sunday). The cafe is part of the Mühlenhagen nature adventure park, a meeting place that the operators have been building for 2 years as the successor to a former zoo. Here you can camp, sleep in a hay hotel and experience a lot of nature. A great place for nature experiences…! Our tour of the park was great, there are different biotopes, we found it best in the cool forest by the creek, after encountering deer and ending up in an enchanted maze...
