Spreequelle in Neugersdorf. Info: The Spree has three official sources. On the Kottmar, in Neugersdorf and in Ebersbach. The most productive of the three Spree sources is located in Neugersdorf, directly in front of the Volksbad (public swimming pool). It still supplies the pool with fresh water today. The Spree is an almost 400-kilometer-long left tributary of the Havel. It originates in the Lusatian Mountains near the border with the Czech Republic.
