This bridge, officially called Fietsbrug Sparrendal, over the N75, was opened in May 2024. The bridge was built after several serious accidents had occurred at the location where many cyclists and hikers had to cross the N75 (Boslaan). The bridge now provides a safe crossing for cyclists and hikers between the two nature reserves: the Lanklaarderbos and Dilserbos of the Hoge Kempen National Park. The bridge is 245 meters long, 5 meters wide and has a span of 36 meters. The cycle path on the bridge is 3 meters wide and is therefore wide enough to allow cyclists and hikers to cross safely in both directions.
