“Vorbasse Krigshavn” (Naval Harbor) is a small park with a small lake in Vorbasse. It is probably the fool Professor Labri who gave the lake its very special name. Previously, the lake was used as Vorbasse's fire pond. The first model warship was in the lake as early as 1924, but it was not until 1984 that the corvette LABRI was put in the lake. The corvette Labri is still in the lake and is launched every year on Easter Saturday so that it is ready for battle. The launch takes place as part of a ceremony that is celebrated throughout the city. Source: Wikipedia

The church was originally a very modest Romanesque building from the 13th century, consisting of a nave and choir. In the early 16th century it was significantly expanded with the transept and tower in the west. The large expansion is likely due to the fact that the church was a pilgrimage church with a sacred spring. The spring is now dry and covered.
