The cathedral is located in the city, next to the main street leading from the Flavier Street to the Forum. It was built where Christians gathered during the persecution (until the 4th century). The building grew larger over time, taking on its present form in the 5th century. It was an elongated parallelogram structure with two rows of columns. The sanctuary was to the west, defined by a semicircular podium with a bench for the priests. In front of the sanctuary, as well as behind and around it, parts of a floor mosaic from the 5th and 6th centuries have been preserved, bearing memorial inscriptions of the faithful who paid for the creation of a part of this mosaic with their money.

In the heart of this historic harbor, just steps from the Arena, is the ACI Marina with 194 berths. Pula International Airport is just 5 kilometers from the city center.
