The real pearl of this region is Lake Sabljaci, an accumulation lake formed on the course of the Zagorska Mrežnica. Many people call this eleventh largest lake in Croatia "Ogulin Sea" (170 ha). If you look at it from Prelesje above the village of Desmerice, it really looks like a big sea bay.

Since April 18, 1991, this school has taken fellow citizens, great artists from the world of pens known as the Croatian Andersen, the famous writer Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. Along with the School Day and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, the School gets its own coat of arms with the school's motto, which has taken root as our identity (verses from the Journey to Klek by Ivan the Noble Zajc) "We are sons of Klek - the fairy echoes - our own" and the solemn song-anthem of the school "Hvala ti, hvala Ivano".
