Vrbnik has the narrowest alley I've ever seen. Walking through it requires a bit of skill and no rush, but it's definitely worth seeing.

The enchanting town of Vrbnik lies on the east coast of the island of Krk and was built on a 49-meter-high cliff above the sea. This small town is particularly fascinating, as every house, alleyway, and doorway has been adapted to the rock, giving the town a unique flair. It's an interesting and worthwhile place for tourists to visit.

In the bay of St. Marek, above the only sandy beach on the island of Krk, on a peninsula, stands the Church of St. Mark. The church was mentioned in the Episcopal Visitation of 1565. Its architectural style suggests that it is probably older, dating from the transition from the 12th to the 13th century. It was abandoned in 1790. Archaeologists have found numerous traces from antiquity: Roman graves with jewelry, iron weapons, and baked ceramics. The remains of a villa rustica were discovered in the sea, indicating that life was already present here in Roman times, and the settlement with a small harbor continued even after the arrival of the Croats.
