In Orłowo, we can also walk along the Queen Marysieńka promenade leading towards Gdańsk. Below the promenade, from July to mid-August, the only summer stage in Poland operates on the beach - the Witold Gombrowicz Municipal Theatre in Gdynia.

Orłowo is one of the most beautiful districts of Gdynia, and the local pier is one of its main attractions. Built in 1934, it was 430 meters long and was adapted for docking ships of the white fleet. Over the decades, its appearance and length have changed. Since 1953, the pier has been 180 meters long. From it, you can admire the Kępa Redłowska cliff, one of the oldest nature reserves in Poland. You can also see from here... the pier in Sopot. On the square in front of the pier entrance stands a bench, on which sat Antoni Suchanek, one of the most outstanding Polish marine painters, engrossed in his work. https://www.gdynia.pl/odetchnijwgdyni/atrakcje-turystyczne-top-12-2,8594/molo-i-klif-w-orlowie,494874

If you want to go up just for the views, it's not worth it. There are many similar places around, but if you have it on your way, it's worth stopping (especially after a steep climb).

Gdynia Główna station is the most important transport hub in the city and one of the largest railway stations in northern Poland. Developed since 1894, it today connects regional SKM trains with long-distance connections to Warsaw and Zakopane. The building impresses inside with large wall mosaics and offers numerous service points – from gastronomy and ticket sales to sanitary facilities. The station is an ideal starting point: easily accessible, clearly laid out, and only about a 20-minute walk from the beach.

The Church of the Saviour is located quietly in Południowy Park, just a few steps from the beach and the pier – an ideal stopover on any route through Sopot. The building was constructed between 1913 and 1919 for the Protestant community and combines brick architecture with decorative Art Nouveau elements. Inside, the bright, clear space surprises with artistic details and a soothing silence that forms a beautiful contrast to the lively coastal area. A short detour is worthwhile for anyone who wants to discover Sopot's quieter, historical side.

The Brzeźno Pier is a classic Baltic Sea pier and one of the most popular viewpoints on the coast of Gdańsk. The 136-meter-long wooden pier extends far beyond the beach and offers wide views over the bay – particularly atmospheric at sunset. Today's pier dates back to the 1990s, but it follows a long tradition of earlier piers. The beach, promenade, and cafés all around invite you to linger, making a short detour a perfect addition to any hike along the coast.
