Only later, when the castle in Promnice was built, the facility lost its importance and was converted into a forest office. In turn, during the PRL, the building served residents as a House of Culture and a kindergarten of the Municipal Museum. Architectural details – look closely at the building's facade. It is decorated with elegant pilasters (flat columns) with elaborate Corinthian-style capitals.

It is worth stopping here for a moment to see this excellently preserved element of Silesian industrial heritage. An old mine cart (koliba) stands right in front of the building of Primary School No. 4 named after St. Barbara. It is a unique, local monument that recalls the centuries-old mining traditions of Goławiec and the hard work of the local miners. The school has a very rich history dating back to the 19th century – Polish lessons started here as early as 1922. An ideal landmark and photo opportunity during a bicycle or walking trip around the Bieruń-Lędziny County.

One of a few surviving Finnish house settlements. The settlement was built in the 1940s for employees of the local "Ziemowit" mine. A couple of houses have retained their practically original condition and appearance.
