So what is this Kanciarski Buk? This place is not just a crossroads. This beech here - a tall tree growing here alone - is a forgotten monument of nature, unfortunately now dying. But it is tall and impressive! It is good to rest under it before pedaling further (although there is a bench here too).

Beautiful Lake Bystrzyckie from Wodna Street. There is also access to the water, so it is worth going off the road to a small beach. There is a dam on the lake in its north-eastern part, but it is not visible from here and everything looks very natural.

There is a great single track leading to it from two sides. However, the bridge itself is in such a state that I thought it was my last crossing of the bridge in this incarnation. The bridge definitely does not like lateral, not necessarily sudden movements. Then it gets a bit nervous and shakes all over 😁

The marina at Zalew Mietkowski is a great place for a short bike trip. The reservoir offers beautiful views of Ślęża, and the surrounding area is ideal for road cycling on flat terrain. You can stop at the marina, which offers water equipment rentals if you feel like taking a break from cycling. It is worth taking a swimsuit, especially on warmer days, as the reservoir has a sandy beach.
