Łagòw (Leopoldshain) is a small place next to Zgorzelec. The history dates back to the 14th century. Owners and possessors changed very often and it was rebuilt again and again. The castle houses a hotel and a restaurant. The latter can only be recommended.

A very beautiful place: deep down in the valley, a lot of people meet at the state border. There is a small café on the German side. You simply stroll over. Very beautiful is the view over the water as well as high up to the Cathedral.
