Created by the Association of Friends of Pilica and Nadpilicz and local government authorities in 1999. Its purpose is to conduct historical and ecological education and to preserve mementos from the past. On April 19, 2005, it began operating as a local government cultural institution subordinate directly to the City Office in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. In 2015, the institution was honored with the Pro Publico Bono Medal of Sabina Nowicka. Since January 1, 2016, the Pilica River Open-Air Museum has been a branch of the Municipal Cultural Center in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.

Niebieskie Źródła Nature Reserve is a landscape nature reserve located in the south-eastern part of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The reserve is located in the buffer zone of the Sulejowski Landscape Park, which is part of the Nadpiliczne Landscape Parks complex. Niebieskie Źródła Nature Reserve is an object of great natural value and attractive to tourists. Educational trails with information boards run through the reserve. The Pilica River Open-Air Museum is located nearby.

Park Bulwary is located on both banks of the Wolbórka River flowing through the center of Tomaszów Mazowiecki, in the immediate vicinity of Galeria Tomaszów. It is a space intended for sports and recreation, but also for cultural events such as concerts or exhibitions. In recent times, the park has undergone a complete metamorphosis. Among other things, landscape beaches, an extreme cycling track, a fountain, viewing platforms, illuminated pedestrian and bicycle footbridges, a playground, an outdoor gym, equipment for recreational and sports games and elements of small architecture were built. The park has become a kind of "oasis of greenery" thanks to the planting of over 300 trees, 40 thousand shrubs and over 30 thousand perennials and other plants.

Neo-Gothic, brick chapel, built in 1886–1887 on the site of an older wooden church. The parish priest at the time was Fr. Alojzy Gerlach, who obtained permission from the authorities to rebuild it – when he died in 1893, he was buried in St. Anne's Church. The main initiator and benefactor of the construction of the new brick church of St. Anne was Filip Łaski. In 1906, a new zinc roof was put on the chapel, and the interior was painted. In 1948, a resolution was passed recognizing the "Chapel of St. Anne in Wolbórz" as a historic monument. The Social Committee for the Construction of Alleys at the parish cemetery in Wolbórz collects money for the renovation of the chapel, its sound system and the revitalization of the alleys. In recent years, it has led to the renovation of part of the collapsed cemetery wall. The oldest tombstones in the cemetery date from the 19th century.
