In the 19th century it served as an Orthodox church, and since 1919 it has served as a Roman Catholic church. The Czartowe Pole Reserve is one of the most picturesque parts of Roztocze, located on the Sopot River, on the border of the Józefów and Susiec communes. It delights with the natural landscape of the valley with numerous water rapids, steep slopes covered with forest and rare plants. In the area you will see the ruins of the 17th-century Zamoyski paper mill and symbolic graves of partisans. The reserve is open to tourists - a nature trail about 1 kilometer long with wooden footbridges leads through it. Right next to it is the Green Velo parking place with shelters and stands where you can attach a bike.

The Sopot River in Roztocze is a charming, small tributary of the Tanew, known primarily for its picturesque waterfalls and rapids. The biggest attraction is the “Szumy nad Sopotem” reserve, where the river creates numerous small cascades, the so-called szumy, giving it a unique character. The route along the river is a popular tourist trail, leading through the wild forests of the Roztocze National Park. It is a great place for hiking and cycling, especially in summer, when nature presents itself at its most beautiful.
