One of the two preserved city gates in Myślibórz. Unfortunately, visiting it is difficult because the main road into the city runs through and alongside the gate. Traffic there is very heavy.

The beginning of the brewery is considered to be 1848, when Ernst Ferdinand Handke came from Łagów to Witnica and leased, and a few years later bought, the local brewery. Until the end of World War II, the brewery operated under the name Stern Brau. After the war, beer was still brewed here, but the owners changed frequently. In 1992, in order to avoid the takeover of the brewery by foreign corporations and its consequent liquidation, an employee-owned company "Browar Witnica Sp. z o.o." was established. In 1995, it was transformed into a joint-stock company and operates in this form to this day. In 2022, the Lubuskie Museum of Brewing was established on the brewery premises.

Currently, the new church is still in use, while the old one is a ruin with difficult access. The roof of the old church looks new, but the surroundings are dense vegetation that has not been cut down by anyone. Soon the trees will start to burst the walls.
