The former knightly estate in Grzymiradz is first mentioned in 1333. Its heyday fell under the ownership of the von der Marwitz family, who settled in the area before 1454. Grzymiradz remained in their hands until the mid-18th century. Afterward, the estate changed hands frequently. In 1852, it was purchased by Hermann Hertell, who built the palace that stands today. Until the outbreak of World War II, the palace changed hands several more times. In 1945, the Soviet army devastated it. It was later converted into a school. In the early 1990s, it passed into private ownership. In 1996, it was destroyed by fire. Today, it lies in a neglected and forgotten ruin.

The neo-Gothic church was built in 1857 on the site of an older, half-timbered church from the 18th century. It has survived to this day without any changes or damage.

Ruin of the palace - mentions of the palace come from 1839, when it was already falling into ruin. Renovated by Hermann von Hertell after 1872 in the neoclassical style. After 1945, the building was adapted for school purposes and was partially used until the end of the 1980s. In 1996, it was destroyed by fire. Currently devastated - no roof, collapsed ceilings, destroyed interior. However, the architecture of the building is still legible - the shape of the two-story palace is symmetrically divided with avant-corps, the facades are pierced with rectangular windows and decorated with profiled cornices and pediments. Palace park – area 3.5 ha, founded after 1872 by Hermann von Hertell as a naturalistic landscape park with a shape similar to a polygon. Originally, it was compositionally connected to the church plot and gardens in the south of the complex. The whole area from the east and south was separated from the field areas by rows of trees, and from the side of the village road, the part of the park next to the palace was protected by a brick wall. Currently, the park's communication system is almost completely obliterated, the brick wall has been demolished, and the church plot has been fenced with a concrete fence. In the eastern part, the foundations of the former ice house are visible, and in the south-east, the mound of the von Hertell family monument. There are 37 species in the forest stand, including 22 species of deciduous trees, 3 species of coniferous trees and 12 species of shrubs and vines. The old trees are partially preserved, the age of the trees is estimated at 150-200 years. Entered into the register of monuments under No. 228 of September 10, 1977

In Grzymiradz are the burned-down ruins of a castle. Of the associated park is unfortunately nothing left.
