In 1982, at the initiative of Edmund Apolinarski, the then director of the breeding center, a decision was made to build a monument commemorating the bull Ilon. The author of the concrete monument is Tomasz Bończa-Ozdowski. The monument was erected in the place where a column commemorating the Prussian Chancellor Otto von Bismarck had previously stood, which was dismantled in the 1960s. Ilon was a bull (breeding bull) of the Holstein-Friesian breed. His mother was brought from the United States to the breeding center in Osowa Sienia in the 1970s. The bull Ilon was born in Osowa Sienia and became the first stud of this breed in Poland. Thanks to his extraordinary productivity, the cattle breeding in Osowa Sień, managed by the State Agricultural Farm, grew stronger, which was a financial success and a symbol of high production of breeding material. Ilon became a real "star of the PRL".

The first town hall was built in the Middle Ages, but its contemporary shape is due to repeated reconstructions. The oldest preserved fragment is the so-called "Gothic hall" from 1556 - with a net vault over the north-eastern part of the ground floor. Wschowa experienced numerous fires, which significantly damaged the town hall. As a result of these events, it was rebuilt several times, while maintaining Gothic elements and rebuilding to remove the damage. In the years 1860-1862, the town hall was rebuilt with elements of "English neo-Gothic", adding a characteristic clock tower and an ornamental roof. The representative façade contains the city's coat of arms, and the shape emphasizes the importance of the town hall as a municipal institution and symbol of power.

The first mention of the town hall in Wschowa dates back to 1435, but it took on its current appearance during the reconstruction in the years 1860–1870. It was given an eclectic shape at that time. In the north-eastern corner of the town hall, a hall covered with an elaborate net vault from the first half of the 16th century (Gothic hall) has been preserved on the ground floor. The former coat of arms of the city is located on the pediment of the town hall. It depicts the scene of the coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Below it is a double Jagiellonian cross with two rings.

Unfortunately, it's a ruin. The station is open, with trains to Leszno and Głogów running from time to time. Probably once a day to Zielona Góra.
