The creator of the monumental likeness is Dawid Celak, who won the competition announced by the mayor of the city - the creation of the mural was one of the elements of the celebration of the Year of Wacław Kowalski in the commune. The artist won based on the best composition, aesthetics, visual appeal and originality. The mural was created at the restored transformer station, which is located at the intersection of Pszczelińska and Wilsona streets (next to the post office). The famous actor, known for his role as Pawlak in the cult trilogy "Sami Swoi", was a resident of Brwinów for many years. He died on October 27, 1990 and was buried in the parish cemetery in Brwinów with his wife and son.
