The bike path is actually well-paved, but unfortunately, it ends in the middle of a field toward Altefähr. Definitely not suitable for racing bikes. We were also cursing quite a bit with our bikes carrying luggage.

The Berta is the traditional fishing boat in Lauterbach. Here you can get delicious fish sandwiches and smoked fish. The Berta is lovingly restored every winter. If you want to watch it, you can do so in the marina in Jaich near the boathouses.
