In the settlement of Szalafő, Kömpe, we find the "bell tower" lookout tower, which is the most characteristic motif of the Rába region. In fact, the eye of Kömpe refers to the fact that from this point, as if through the eye of the lookout tower, we can see all parts of the settlement of Szalafő. In the lower part we also find a swing bed, and in the upper part we get a panoramic view.

An open-air lookout tower, open 24/7, that brings the bison living here "up close". There are explanatory signs, a covered area with benches, and a rooftop terrace on the first floor - with a great view not only of the animals' habitat. I definitely recommend visiting it. And you can see not only bison, but also horses...

In 1676–77, a church was built on the walls of the 12th-century Cistercian church of Szentgotthárd, and the remaining parts of the church were used to build the theater in the 1980s. The so-called Granary Church. Built on 12th-century foundations, the church was converted into a fortress. In 1605, it was blown up during the fighting that took place there and, after its reconstruction, served as a parish church until the construction of the Baroque church. Since 1988, it has served as the city theater.
