Hohenmühringen Castle (often also referred to as Mühringen Castle). The estate is located on a hill above the Eyach valley and combines architectural styles from different eras – from the medieval defensive structure and elements of the Renaissance to romantic Historicism. The original castle dates back to the 12th to 13th century. In the 16th century, the estate was expanded with the three-story granary ("Neuer Bau"). In 1875, an extensive expansion was carried out in the Neo-Gothic style, during which the castle chapel was also added and the medieval keep (the so-called "Heidenturm") was provided with battlements. The castle is privately owned.

The Wehrstein castle ruins are located above Fischingen in the Neckar Valley and are among the most beautiful castle ruins in the region. From there, there is a wide view over the Neckar Valley and the surrounding forests. The castle was probably built in the 12th century; it was first documented in 1280. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle was largely destroyed in 1643 and has been a ruin ever since. Today, the site is freely accessible and a popular destination for hikers, cyclists, and history enthusiasts.
