The BroncBack Mountain Loop is a popular, intermediate loop just southeast of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Most complete the loop counterclockwise, heading west (with amazing views of Red Rock, Calico Basin, and the Spring Mountains) from the parking areas either on Moenkopi Road or on Highway 159. As you ride, the junction with The Bronc trail is unmarked, be on the lookout for both the junction and wild animals like burros, tortoises, tarantulas, and other desert dwellers.

The Oh So Lonely Trail is a rocky, moderately challenging singletrack trail around Lone Mountain and offers a more technical route around the peak. Unlike the main Lone Mountain Equestrian Loop, you don't have to share this trail with horses and casual walkers, only hikers and other mountain bikers. This trail suffered some damage (but is still doable) from the 2023 flooding, so just be aware of large runoff ditches as you ride.

The sharp rocky limestone that the trails are made of is full of tiny fossils and makes up a moderately challenging loop around the mountain just a short distance from town.

The Buckskin Cliff Shadows is a lovely local park where you can hike, rock climb, and ride horses and bikes. Located on the west side of town various trails branch off the main one up the sides of a wide limestone valley.
